Melville's Character, Captain Ahab, Is Determined To The Point Of Obsession. While Americans Tend To Admire Presistence, Can One Be Determined ?
One can be determined because Presistence means you're not going to do anything. Being determined means you know you can do something and you will achieve that goal.
